Canon's TC-N3 and TC-E3 timer remotes gain Specified-time shooting, and the 59g DM-E10D adds a supercardioid shoe microphone. Both ship in December.

Two small Canon accessories landed together on November 4, and the one I'd actually order is the timer remote.

The Timer Remote Controller TC-N3 and TC-E3 have a new "Specified-time shooting" function that lets you preset a start time and end time, so you can set up a star trail or a sunrise timelapse and walk away. Canon also raised the maximum shot count from 99 to 9999, added a tripod socket on the back, and kept the orange backlight for working in the dark. The TC-N3 is for N3-type remote terminals, the TC-E3 for E3-type, and both will ship from December 2026.

The DM-E10D is a 59g monaural Multi-Function Shoe microphone with a supercardioid pattern.

The other accessory is the DM-E10D, a 59g monaural digital microphone for the Multi-Function Shoe with a supercardioid pattern, a shock mount and a furry windscreen. Canon's Hong Kong arm lists it at HK$1,480, and it also arrives in December.
