The LUMIX S 20mm F2.5 lands at $499.99 USD with shipping in October, and it's a tiny ultra-wide prime that finally gives Lumix S shooters a sub-500-buck wide option.
Before I get into the lens itself, I want to flag something: I haven't held this lens yet. Panasonic's announcement was a press release plus the firmware drop, no loaner came my way, so my thoughts here are based on the spec sheet and what I know about prior S-mount glass.
