Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max goes global with three 200MP Hasselblad cameras, 8K LOG video and a €1,799.99 European price.

Three rear cameras, all 200 megapixels. That's what Oppo brought to Mallorca on October 21, where it launched the Find X10 series globally — and the company says the Find X10 Pro Max is the first phone anywhere to put a 200MP sensor behind each of its three rear lenses. The China launch happened a month ago; this week the rest of the world got prices, dates, and one quiet downgrade.

Three 200MP sensors, and the fine print

The main camera pairs its 200MP with a 1/1.3-inch sensor at f/1.5, 24mm equivalent, with optical stabilization. The periscope telephoto is also 200MP — a 1/1.56-inch sensor at f/2.1, 70mm equivalent, 3x optical, with macro focus down to 10cm. The ultrawide completes the set: 200MP, f/2.2, 13mm, with a 124-degree field of view. Hasselblad's name is on the whole system — Oppo calls it the Hasselblad True-to-Life Camera, running its LUMO True Color Engine across what it describes as 24 spectral channels and 15EV of dynamic range.

Video is where the numbers get loud. All three cameras record 8K30, there's 10-bit 8K LOG, and 4K120 with Dolby Vision. Oppo claims 17 stops of HDR in standard video mode. Those are Oppo claims, and I haven't shot a frame with this phone, so treat the stops as marketing until someone measures them.

The fine print is the pixel pitch. 200MP on a 1/1.3-inch sensor works out to roughly 0.6-micron pixels — tiny even by phone standards. Sensors like this are designed to bin, combining groups of pixels into one for a clean lower-resolution file. The 200MP headline exists mostly to enable cropping inside the sensor: digital zoom that doesn't immediately fall apart.

The global math

At the Mallorca event Oppo confirmed European pricing that lands well above last year's models. In Italy the Find X10 Pro Max lists at €1,799.99; the standard Find X10 is €1,399.99 with 256GB and €1,599.99 with 512GB. UK pricing, as reported by Notebookcheck, is £1,499 for the Pro Max and £1,099 for the X10. For scale: the Find X9 launched in Europe at €999, and the Find X9 Pro at €1,299. The new top model is €500 above its predecessor.

Pre-orders are open now, with availability starting in late October. Launch promotions soften the blow — a coupon worth £100 or €100 depending on the market, plus a gift with a pre-order deposit: a Hasselblad teleconverter kit, an Oppo Watch X3, or a Pad 5. German and French stores add a trade-in bonus of up to €250.

One quiet downgrade for Europe: the battery. Global spec sheets list 8,000mAh; European units ship with 7,150mAh. The rest of the core spec carries over — MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro, a 6.78-inch display, 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The part that matters to a camera person

I shoot a GH7, so a €1,800 phone with three cameras isn't competing for my bag space — it's competing for the pocket where a compact camera used to live. That segment is nearly gone, and launches like this are why.

What I'd want to check, since I haven't used it: whether the 200MP mode produces files worth the storage cost, or whether everyone ends up in the binned mode within a week; and how far the telephoto's in-sensor crop goes before the detail gives out. Physics still doesn't negotiate — 0.6-micron pixels are small, and no amount of Hasselblad branding changes the diffraction math at f/1.5.

The branding is doing something else, though. Hasselblad on a phone module means color tuning and a name people trust, and Oppo is betting that's worth €500 more than last year.

I'll believe the 200MP story when I see the files.
