XTU launched the S7 Pro Max action camera on October 27: a 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor, 50MP stills, 4K at 50fps with HDR, 14 stops of dynamic range and a 158-degree field of view. The body weighs 138g, runs Wi-Fi 6, and ships with a replaceable 1800mAh battery rated for about 200 minutes at 1080p30.
It's $179.99 direct, £99.99 in the UK, and it's a real step up from the S7 Pro's half-inch Sony IMX586 — bigger sensor, wider lens, and X-LOG on top.
The S7 Pro Max is the one I'd actually look at, mostly because RYYB and 14 stops is a lot of headroom to shoot into at this price. I've never run one, so I can't tell you how the AI night vision holds up, and "up to 200 minutes" depends entirely on which mode you're in. Still, X-LOG plus HDR at 4K50 in a body this size is a lot of camera for the money.
